This was how my instagram life began, with a mixed group of locals and foreigners, plenty of iPhones and cameras, and a community of open hearts. I still remember my very first instayay - May 1, #hkinstayay2 Sham Shui Po. I was flicking around on meetup and came across this HK instagram group. So I got on and asked about the next meetup. It was @rig_ and @furkidsinhk’s welcoming messages got me into joining this group of total strangers, and @angushoyin’s friendly gesture that made me stay after arriving at Sham Shui Po MTR Station. And I would say, these were the best decisions I made in 2011. As a local yet living like a stranger in HK, you guys have since became my best family. I have my tiltshift papa @twheat to open my eyes and have fun with (not to mention the lovely @saritawheat, @jacindalex Kaya and Huck), my straight forward guiding baba @furkidsinhk to look out and mentor us, my sweet couple @rig_ and @mrs_spring_roll to be the quiet balance of the founders, my all time favourite sister @Fhung to inspire me and put a smile on my face, (of course the creative counterpart @patrickng whom has all the nice stuff to be envy at), my outspoken yet sweet sister @intzt taught me the lesson of being true to self with confidence, my girl next door Macau sister @karen83 shown me strength in her small body, my equally tough sister @wwtang with a soft heart inside, my sister @xenaboo to be the sweetheart of our family, my elegant yet fun sister @chansky to be super warm and understanding, my japanese best friends happy sister @applemikan and lady sister @kel_hk22 to put up with my horrible make up Japanese with their very fluent cantonese, my super cool sisters @korafong and @sindyc to bring us a special kick of favour, my dear sister @blurryclaire and her partner in design @jerrymug to make our dreams come true, my close group of siblings with @angushoyin @panglap @marielai @calvin_bb @justinfied to hangout together as well as support each other, and of course my twin sister @aoyin to be there for me at times. Also on my mind are cousin @ming_hui and @my_929 who brought us lots of fun and shown us how beauty lomography, #iphonegraphy and #iphotography can be, brothers @jethromullen and @indigoblue who show us their amazing pics (but keeping all the secrets to themselves), crazy mob of @omissibleyiu @lelelala @tinyau @neighbourhood @jaycy who make me laugh till tears fall, etc. There are still many of you I haven’t mentioned, but never forgotten.
